Jung’s Doctoral Thesis was on Occult Phenomena. His work with Freud enabled him to find his own way of reconciling mythic, psychic, and scientific material. In fact Freud had already censored a chapter on Occult Phenomena from his first book and later in life claimed that if he could start over he would specialize in parapsychology. With the rise of science fiction, Jung and Reich wrote their final works on UFOs. In this seminar we will analyze the shift from past to future in the human psyche.
