Participation in Analytica is open to all and determined by the desire and commitment to work at a unique analytic school of collective learning and teaching based on the discourse of the analyst. Analytica is the first fully-functioning virtual analytic institute with all events being available live online and archived for future use. Analytica does not demand specific requirements to enter. It does not provide degrees or licenses but it will assist in an individual’s formation and training requirements in and out of the school, and will provide a certificate of completion and/or certification of membership at Analytica. A record of each individual’s participation can be maintained for such things as course credit hours, supervised practice hours, continuing education credits and other such information for use in universities, institutes, and state licensing in other environments, and/or to complete a certification at Analytica to assist with the self authorization of the analyst.

Membership and training in Analytica is simplified compared to other institutes of today and it follows the original principles of Freud and Lacan, in which Didactic Analysis is at the core accompanied by the analysis in extension of other methods. Currently the monthly fee is 100 per month to participate in all activities of the school: Cartels, Seminar and Pass Demonstrations, and Assemblages. The primary cost for trainee members is for their Didactic Analysis which must be with a member of the school. The fee is to be arranged between each analysand and analyst according to their desires.

The process of formation, authorization, and certification are streamlined to a minimum. The Analysand begins by participating in the four elements of the school: Didactic Analysis, Cartels, Demonstrations, and Assemblages. The Pass Demonstration though based on Lacan’s school takes on a unique form at Analytica, developed over many years of experimenting with this procedure.

In phase one of the Pass Demonstration, after a minimum of one year of Didactic Analysis but only when the member feels ready, they produce text and presentation on the work in the Position of Analysand and how it has transformed them regarding their symptom and desire. At this point they may also choose to begin occupying the Position of Analyst for other analysands. In fact the desire of others to work with them is a key factor. The Analyst Member may begin offering Seminar Demonstrations at the school at this point whether they decide to occupy the Position of Analyst or not.

In the second phase, after a minimum of one year of “Supervision Analysis” and when the analyst feels ready, they produce a text and presentation on at least one case of analysis and the transformative effect on the symptom and desire of the analysand. At this point the Analyst of the School will receive a formal Certification for use in the appropriate circumstances. Afterwards the analyst is encouraged to remain a member and participate in the work of the school which serves as much as a research institute as a training institute.
